N. Reddy and A. S. A. Sami. The film features M. G. Ramachandran, M. R. Radha and Devika in lead roles, while Kamal Haasan played as a child artist. The film, produced by P. S. Veerappa, had musical score by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy and was released on 5 July 1963. It was the only film of Devika with M.G.R. PlotAnand (MGR), a physical education teacher in a school, is accused of a murder, while he is totally innocent. In his escape, for his innocence, he can count only on his beloved Jodhi (Devika) and his younger brother, playful Balu (Kamal Haasan), Anand's schoolchild! Cast

ProductionAnanda Jodhi was jointly directed by V. N. Reddi and A. S. A. Samy and was produced by actor P. S. Veerappan under the company Hariharan films. Release & receptionAnanda Jothi was released on 5 July 1963.[1] Writing for Sport and Pastime, T. M.
