At her second Olympic appearance she was a member of the team that won the bronze medal in the women's competition. She later started a career in beach volleyball. She was part of the Brazil women's national volleyball team at the 1998 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan.[1] She lives in Los Angeles, California, works as an architect, writes to a Brazilian newspaper, and is studying political science.
