The school is currently divided into three classes: one for first and second grades, one for third and fourth grades, and one for fifth through seventh grades.[3] The school was expanded in 1949 and 1984,[2][3] and it can accommodate 45 children. The school's language of instruction is Nynorsk, and the proportion of children using Nynorsk is 73%. In January 2014 the school received its own preschool in the old renovated parish building, and new outdoor areas were arranged.
