The main house was built by contractor Henry J. Wolcott in 1906. J. Frank Trowbridge bought the property in 1909 and built a large barn to house three stallion horses; he turned to dairying by 1919 and operated the property as a local dairy until driven out of business in the Depression, selling the property in 1933.[2][3] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2010a}} {{National Register of Historic Places}}{{Montana-NRHP-stub}}2. ^{{cite web|url={{NRHP url|id=79001419}}|title=National Register of Historic Places Inventory/Nomination Continuation Sheet: Trowbridge Dairy|publisher=National Park Service|author=David Leavengood |date=June 1979 |accessdate=August 9, 2017}} With {{NRHP url|id=79001419|photos=y|title=two photos from 1979}}. 3. ^{{cite web|url={{NRHP url|id=64000434}}|title=National Register of Historic Places Inventory/Nomination: Historic Resources of Livingston|publisher=National Park Service|author=David Leavengood |date=June 1979 |accessdate=August 9, 2017}} 4 : National Register of Historic Places in Montana|Buildings and structures completed in 1906|Park County, Montana|1906 establishments in Montana |
