Tyler Abell (born in 1932) served as United States Chief of Protocol from September 30, 1968 to January 20, 1969, under President Lyndon B. Johnson. He had been appointed on September 25, 1968.[1] He was preceded by Angier Biddle Duke and succeeded by Emil Mosbacher.
