The music of the film is directed by Prashant Pillai and the cinematography is handled by Jimshi Khalid and Sajith Purushan.[5][6] Cast
ProductionDevelopmentIn early November 2017, it was announced that director Khalidh Rahman will be directing his second movie titled Unda with Mammootty in lead.[7] He plays a Sub-inspector's role. The team later confirmed that Shine Tom Chacko, Jacob Gregory and Arjun Ashokan will also be joining the cast. Khalidh Rahman and his brother cinematographer Jimshi Khalid had visited North Indian states like Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand as part of the location hunt.[8] According to producer, the film is an action-comedy.[1] In 2018, Dileesh Pothan and Bollywood actors Omkar Das Manikpuri, Bhagwan Tiwari and Chien Ho Liao were officially added to the cast.[9] The lead actress for the film is yet to be announced.[10] The film is made on a ₹12 crore budget.[11] Official title poster was released through social medias on 21 September 2018.[12] FilmingPrincipal photography of the film began in October 2018. Shooting was planned for 60 days in Kasargod, Chhattisgarh, and Mangalore.[13] On 25 November 2018, action director Sham Kaushal joined the team in Kasargod. Talking about the action sequences, Kaushal said: “We did most of it in sequence as per written in the script, but then we also had to improvise a few portions while keeping the basic structure intact.”[14]On 19 February 2019, the film was shifted to Wayanad for its second schedule.[15][16] As part of the second schedule a brief shoot had taken place in Mysore and it's surroundings. On 27 February 2019, director Ranjith had joined the team in Mysore and was confirmed to play a character role. A continued shoot was held in Kannur from 3 March 2019 with actors Sudhi Koppa and Kalabhavan Shajohn joining the cast. After completing a brief filming at Viyyoor in Thrissur, the team shifted to Chhattisgarh to shoot it's final portions.[17] It also marked as the first Malayalam movie to be shot at the location.[18] SoundtrackThe film features original background score and songs composed by Prashant Pillai.
