The University of West Attica (UNIWA; {{lang-el|Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Αττικής}}) is a newly established university in the Athens urban area, which resulted from the general overhaul of Technological Educational Institutes (TEI) in Greece. The university has two campuses in the area of Aigaleo.

History

The University of West Attica was created in 2018 as a result of the merger of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus.^[1]^[2]
