ProductionRumors began to circulate in November 2018 that a film continuation of the series was in development, and would see Aaron Paul reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman.[1] In an interview that same month, Bryan Cranston confirmed that a film was indeed in the works, but said he had not seen a script. Cranston also stated he would be interested in appearing.[2] The film was confirmed in February 2019, with filming commencing in New Mexico that month.
