Club careerRegistering a Fieldoo account in 2015, Poljanec was noticed by agent Bryan Lim who was pursuing players to sign for Mongolian championship contenders Khoromkhon.[1] As the club were in clamant need of a goalkeeper, the agent offered him a contract, which he accepted,[2] becoming the first Slovenian to play in Mongolia as a result.[1] Poljanec helped his team to four victories, two draws and two defeats in eight rounds during his stay there.[2] Poljanec also made two appearances in the 2016 AFC Cup qualifying round in a 1–0 loss to K-Electric[3] and a goalless draw with Druk United[4] through August 2015. In November 2017, Poljanec signed for the I-League club Chennai City.[5] References1. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://blog.fieldoo.com/2015/05/uros-poljanec-joins-mongolian-champions/|title=Uroš Poljanec joins Mongolian champions - Fieldoo Blog|website=Blog.fieldoo.com|accessdate=5 December 2017}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Poljanec, Uroš}}2. ^1 {{cite news|url=http://ekipa.svet24.si/clanek/magazin/na-delu-v-tujini/55a4bfa7a1106/uros-poljanec-odhod-v-mongolijo-velik-korak-naprej|title=Uroš Poljanec: Preteple bi večino Slovencev|date=15 July 2015|accessdate=17 October 2017|language=sl|publisher=Ekipa24|author=Iztok Lukner}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.the-afc.com/afc-cup-2016/afc-cup-2016-play-off-qualifiers-khoromkhon-fc-0-1-k-electric-fc|title=AFC Cup 2016 Play-off Qualifiers: Khoromkhon FC 0-1 K-Electric FC - AFC|website=The-afc.com|accessdate=5 December 2017}} 4. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.the-afc.com/afc-cup-2016/druk-utd-khoromkhon-stalemate-sees-k-electric-reach-play-offs|title=Druk Utd, Khoromkhon stalemate sees K-Electric reach play-offs - AFC|website=The-afc.com|accessdate=5 December 2017}} 5. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.goal.com/en-ae/match/gokulam-v-chennai-city/preview/bkshc5vmdtqppsoo7eu1i1qi2|publisher=Goal.com|accessdate=5 December 2017|date=4 December 2017|title=Gokulam v Chennai City Match Preview, 04/12/2017, I-League|author=Manasi Pathak}} 14 : 1991 births|Living people|Slovenian footballers|Association football goalkeepers|Slovenian expatriate footballers|Expatriate footballers in Austria|Expatriate footballers in Mongolia|Expatriate footballers in Iceland|Expatriate footballers in India|Úrvalsdeild players|Slovenia youth international footballers|Khoromkhon players|Slovenian expatriate sportspeople in Austria|Chennai City F.C. players |
