USS Savannah (LCS-28) will be an {{sclass-|Independence|littoral combat ship}} of the United States Navy.^[1]^[2] She will be the sixth ship to be named Savannah.^[2]Savannah is currently being built in Mobile, Alabama by Austal USA.^[3]
