Dheena Dhayalan made his debut as music director in the film and national award winning cinematographer George C. Williams is handling the camera. ProductionDulquer Salmaan who is known for his works in Mollywood industry signed for another Tamil film directed by debutant RA Karthik. The first look poster for the film unveiled on 15 June 2018 on the eve of Ramadan.[2] The filmmakers initially approached Nivetha Pethuraj to share screen space with two other female leads as the film is set with an idea of three female lead roles. However according to the reports, she is revealed to have turned down the offer. Kalyani Priyadarshan was later added to the cast replacing Nivetha which also coincidentally turned out to be her debut Tamil film while Kriti Kharbandha was also roped in as second female lead.[3] The film was launched on 5 December 2018 in Chennai and popular director K. S.
