He primarily practices at the Madhya Pradesh High Court, but also appears at various high courts and tribunals across the country. Currently he has been appointed as the senior standing counsel for the Income Tax Department in the Madhya Pradesh High Court.[1] He has also been qualified as an Insolvency Professional[2] under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. He is also the founder of a Corporate Law firm, JMVD & Co. Solicitors and Corporate Attorneys, having its main office at Indore. Background and familyHe was born in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) on 2 August 1967. His father Chintamani Dubey was a prominent lawyer of the district, practicing in the area of land and property matters. And his grandfather Shri Thakur Prasad Dubey was the Head master of a Government school in Bhadohi. He is Married to Suman and has two children Amit and Rohit. CareerV.N. Dubey was qualified as a Company Secretary and was in secretarial practice before started practicing as an advocate and entering the legal profession. He had also served as the Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Associated Alcohols & Breweries Limited having been associated with the Group for more than two decades.
