Gameplay{{empty section|date=September 2017}}Development{{empty section|date=September 2017}}Reception{{Video game reviews| rev1 = Electronic Entertainment | rev1Score = 8 out of 10[1] }} While praising V for Victory: Gold-Juno-Sword{{'}}s documentation and SVGA graphics, Computer Gaming World stated that the fourth game "succeeds only a technological level, bereft of soul" and compared the series to "a line of books without an editor". The magazine concluded that "Three-Sixty's reputation in the hobby has suffered a major blow".[2] In 1994, the editors of PC Gamer US wrote, "The V for Victory series is quite simply the most playable war games available, with an easy-to-master interface and admirable depth of game play." They continued, "We single out Utah Beach because it launched the series — but by all means, check out Velikiye Luki, Gold*Juno*Sword, and Market Garden, too."[3] Gold-Juno-Sword was a runner-up for Computer Gaming World{{'}}s Wargame of the Year award in June 1994, losing to Clash of Steel. The editors wrote, "Although basically a sequel, the improvements to the system bring it to the realms of wargame finalist".[4]References1. ^{{cite journal | author=Ferrell, Ed | journal=Electronic Entertainment | title=V for Victory: Gold, Juno, Sword |date=January 1994 | issue=1 | page=114 }} {{Atomic Games}}2. ^{{cite news | url=http://www.cgwmuseum.org/galleries/index.php?year=1988&pub=2&id=47 | title=It Was the Best of Times, It Was the Worst of Times | work=Computer Gaming World | date=December 1993 | accessdate=31 March 2016 | author=Coleman, Terry | pages=244, 246}} 3. ^{{cite journal | author=Staff | journal=PC Gamer US | title=PC Gamer Top 40: The Best Games of All Time |date=August 1994 | issue=3 | pages=32-42 }} 4. ^{{Cite magazine |last= |first= |author= |last2= |first2= |date=June 1994 |title=Announcing The New Premier Awards |department= |url=http://www.cgwmuseum.org/galleries/index.php?year=1994&pub=2&id=118 |magazine=Computer Gaming World |pages=51-58 |type=}} 3 : 1993 video games|Computer wargames|Video games developed in the United States |
