He is currently a co-founder and managing partner of private equity company Insight Equity Holdings.[1] Early lifeVescovo grew up in Dallas, Texas, where he graduated from St. Mark's School of Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University, a master's degree in Defense and Arms Control Studies (Political Science) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker scholar.[2] CareerIn 2002, he co-founded Insight Equity, a private equity firm that specializes in acquiring and enhancing the performance of industrial-type firms. His particular areas of specialization are in defense, aerospace, and electronics industries. Military careerIn 2013, he retired from the United States Navy Reserve as a Commander (O-5), having served over twenty years as an operational intelligence officer in a variety of roles all over the world, including serving tours on the USS Nimitz, USS Blue Ridge, and as an intelligence officer instructor at the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (aka "Strike University").
