Virginia Louise Falkner (1 March 1913 – 1980) was an American author. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and graduated from Lincoln High School. [1]

In 1940 she wrote My Hey Day: or the Crack up of the International Set, and later Maldemer Farm: or My Back To The Soil as "Princess Tulip Murphy, as told to V. Faulkner".[2][3]

Legacy

The Virginia Faulkner Awards are named after her. A collection of Faulkner's papers is held at the library of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.[4]
