It is located in the Augland neighborhood in the borough of Vågsbygd in the city of Kristiansand. The church is part of the Vågsbygd parish in the Kristiansand arch-deanery in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The stone church was built in 1967 using plans by the architect Christen A.
