HistoryThe premise of the programme was for the presenter Rob Bell to walk sections of British railways that were closed during the Beeching cuts of the early 1960s.[1][2] Walking along the six different closed routes the audience were shown both the lost history and current stories[3] that occurred along their tracks, and illustrated the railway mania that hit Victorian Britain.[4] List of Episodes
