White voice or white singing is a traditional style of singing from Eastern Europe (Ukrainian: Білий голос, {{Lang-pl|biały śpiew}}). TechniqueThe technique is based on the open throat and noisy free volume of a bright color. Mostly it uses the chest register and is close to a controlled scream. Air escapes through the fully open throat. They are used for the upper and medium resonators, laryngeal cartilage, bones and air cavities in the head and throat. A characteristic feature of this kind of voice is its brightness and intensity, more important than the smooth running and control of breathing.
