CareerAfter graduating Wilfred worked as fund manager with the Newton Investment Management and was based in London.[2] After five years of working in the financial field Wilfred left to pursue a career in broadcasting, freelancing and filing reports for CNN and ITV News. CNBCIn 2014 Wilfred joined CNBC as the co-anchor of Worldwide Exchange. He first hosted the program from CNBC Europe's London studios, and when the show was moved from London to America at the start of 2016, Wilfred moved to America to co-host the programme from CNBC's global headquarters.[3] In 2016 during the crucial Brexit decision, Wilfred provided coverage for CNBC as well as CNBC sister networks MSNBC and NBC News. Around this time he was also assigned the role of reporting on the banks for CNBC. In 2018 Wilfred was promoted to co-anchor of Closing Bell a program that airs live daily on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.[4] In 2018 Wilfred was a part of NBC News’ coverage of the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Personal LifeIn 2015 Wilfred's older brother Miles died from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, the same condition that their father David Frost died from in 2013.
