BiographyIn May 1995, Muhm was ordained to the priesthood by John Cardinal O'Connor in the Archdiocese of New York. Muhm served at St. Ann Parish, Ossining (1995–1996) and Holy Family Parish, Staten Island (1996–1998), then became a chaplain and captain in the United States Navy in 1998. Pope Francis appointed him auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA on January 22, 2019.[1][2] On March 25, 2019, Muhm was consecrated as a bishop.
