{{Use dmy dates|date=May 2018}}{{Portal|Anglicanism}} The Ven. William Vyse (b Sambrook 11 February 1710 – d Birmingham 29 June 1770) was an English churchman, Archdeacon of Salop from 13 March 1735 until his death.^[1]

Vyse was educated at Pembroke College, Oxford, matriculating in 1727 and graduating B.A. in 1730.^[2] He held the living of St Philip, Birmingham^[3] and became Treasurer of Lichfield Cathedral in 1734.^[4]

One of his sons, Richard, became a General;^[5] and another, William, Archdeacon of Coventry.^[6]
