}}WingLights are bicycle direction indicators and were created by the London-based startup Cycl.[1] The LED turn signals that attach to the ends of bike handlebars with the aim to increase visibility on busy roads.[2][3] The founders of CYCL realized that hand signals for turning are simply not sufficient; often going unnoticed. Since October 2014, CYCL has been a part of the Sirius Programme[8] from UK Trade and Investment, selected from over 2,200 applicants for only 50 spots.
