Their Bon-gwan is in Wonju, Gangwon Province (historical). According to the research held in 2015, the number of Wonju Byeon clan was 47804. Their founder was {{ill|Byeon An ryeol|ja|邊安烈}} who was a general at the end of Goryeo. His ancestor (Byeon Yo: {{hanja|邉幺}}) was naturalized from Song dynasty. {{ill|Byeon An ryeol|ja|邊安烈}} was a grandchild of Byeon Sun ({{hanja|邉順}})’s, and Byeon Sun ({{hanja|邉順}}) was a great-great-grandchild of Byeon Ryeo ({{hanja|邉呂}})’s, and Byeon Ryeo ({{hanja|邉呂}}) was a son of Byeon Yo ({{hanja|邉幺}})’s, {{ill|Byeon An ryeol|ja|邊安烈}} entered Goryeo as a fatherly master of Queen Noguk in 1352.[1] See also
