It was built in 1931-1932, and is a two-story, rectangular building, five bays wide and two bays deep, with Tudor Revival and Colonial Revival style design elements in a somewhat eclectic design. It has fieldstone walls and a cross-gable slate roof and sits on a poured concrete foundation. It has a small, two-bay garage attached to the main block. It was built for Earl Woodward (1891-1956), who reinvented Adirondack tourism in the Lake George region through the introduction of dude ranch style resorts during the 1920s.[2]{{rp|5}} It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.[1] References1. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://www.nps.gov/history/nr/listings/20140523.htm|title=National Register of Historic Places|date=2014-05-23|work=Weekly List of Actions Taken on Properties: 5/12/14 through 5/16/14 |publisher=National Park Service}} {{National Register of Historic Places in New York}}{{WarrenCountyNY-NRHP-stub}}2. ^{{cite web | url = https://cris.parks.ny.gov/ | title = Cultural Resource Information System (CRIS)| publisher = New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation| format = Searchable database| accessdate = 2015-11-01}} Note: This includes {{cite web | url =https://cris.parks.ny.gov/Uploads/ViewDoc.aspx?mode=A&id=294778&q=false | title = National Register of Historic Places Registration Form: Woodward Hall| accessdate = 2015-11-01 | author =Jennifer Betsworth| format = PDF| date=December 2013}} 6 : Houses on the National Register of Historic Places in New York (state)|Tudor Revival architecture in New York (state)|Colonial Revival architecture in New York (state)|Houses completed in 1932|Buildings and structures in Warren County, New York|National Register of Historic Places in Warren County, New York |
