Stuart Symington Jr. Biography{{unsourced|section|date=March 2018}}Symington was the United States Department of State's Representative at the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, Virginia from 2005-06, Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq from 2004-05, and Deputy Director of the Department’s Office of West African Affairs from 2003-05. He served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Niamey, Niger from 2001 to 2003, Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Quito, Ecuador from 1997 to 2001, and a Pearson Fellow in the Office of U.S. Congressman Ike Skelton from 1996-97.
