Youth Ki Awaaz presents itself as "Youth Ki Awaaz: Citizen Journalism & News, Voice Of Youth",[2] calling itself a "social justice media platform".[3] In 2015 Quintillion Media, led by Raghav Bahl and Ritu Kapur, invested Rs. 4 crore (US$ 600,000) in Youth Ki Awaaz.[4] On March 31, 2018 Juggernaut Books announced association with Youth Ki Awaaz for digital books.[5] RecognitionThe platform received the "Social media for empowerment" award at the 2013 Manthan South Asia Awards[6] and the Laadli Media Awards for "gender sensitivity" in 2016.[7] See also
