Banū Makhzūm ({{Lang-ar|بنو مخزوم}}) was one of the wealthy clans of Quraysh. They are regarded as one of three most powerful and influential Tribes in Mecca before the advent of Islam, the other two being Banu Hashim-the Islamic prophet Muhammad- and Banu Umayya[1][2][3] Members of this clan still live in present-day Saudi Arabia and Syria.
