The Barttelot Baronetcy, of Stopham in the County of West Sussex, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 14 June 1875 for the Conservative politician Walter Barttelot.[1] The Barttelots had a residence at La Ford, in the parish of Stopham.[2] The family surname is pronounced "Bartlot". {{As of|2017}} the title is held by his great-great-grandson (the title having descended in the direct line), Colonel Sir Brian Barttelot Bt OBE DL, the fifth Baronet, who succeeded his father in 1944. He is a Colonel in the Coldstream Guards and a Vice-President of the Standing Council of the Baronetage.[3]The family seat is Stopham Park, near Pulborough, West Sussex.
