Becker High School is a public high school in Becker, Minnesota. Becker High School enrolls grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 800 students. It is the only high school in located in Minnesota Public School District 726.

Other schools in the district are Becker Primary School, Becker Intermediate School, and Becker Middle School.

Sports

The Becker Bulldogs compete in the Granite Ridge Conference of the Minnesota State High School League. The teams are nicknamed the Bulldogs, their mascot is Busse the Bulldog and the school colors are Blue and White. The Bulldog football team completed the 2005 season undefeated and won the Class AAA State Championship. The Bulldog football team also won the Class AAAA State Championship in 2014 and 2015. The Bulldog girls basketball team completed the 2006-2007 season with record of 31-1 and won the Class AAA State Championship.

Becker has been a partner in many conferences including the Central Minnesota Conference, The Wright County Conference, and charter members of the Mississippi 8 Conference. The Becker Bulldogs have been in the Granite Ridge Conference since 2012. Starting in 2019-20, Becker will return to the Mississippi 8 Conference for all sports.

FIRST Robotics Competition

As of 2012, Becker High School has been competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).[2] The FRC Team 4607 - The Coalition of Independent Students (CIS) has been successful during its first two seasons qualifying for two MSHSL berths in its first two years.[3] They won the MSHSL Robotics State Tournament in 2013 and then returned as Finalists in 2014.

FRC 4607 has enjoyed a long string of success in it's seven seasons.

The team has won the prestigious Chairman's Award a record four times in Minnesota. They did this in consecutive seasons at all four different Regionals in Minnesota (North Star '16, 10,000 Lakes '17, Lake Superior '18, and Northern Lights '19).

FRC 4607 partners with local Colleges, Universities, and Corporations to provide training through their JUMPSTART Initiative.

Theater

The school is home to an active theater department and in addition to one and three-act plays the school has produced an annual musical theatre production since 2006. Past shows include Fiddler on the Roof (2006),[4] Bye Bye Birdie (2007),[5] Guys and Dolls (2008),[6] Oklahoma! (2009),[7] Grease (2010),[8] The Sound of Music (2012),[9] How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (2012)[10] and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2013).{{citation needed|date=January 2014}}
