BiographyEarly life and careerFraser was born on 28 July 1924. He served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force during World War II. He was Dunedin's longest-serving MP.[2] He was a Cabinet Minister, and was Minister of Defence from 1974 to 1975 in the Third Labour Government.
