Birpani ({{lang-ur|{{Nastaliq|بیرپانی }}}}) is a town and Union Council in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located 20 km west of Bagh city and at an altitude of 2000 metres. The origin of the word Birpani comes from the Pahari word Beer and means Veer (Brother/بھائی ). Hamza Kashmiri LocationBirpani is 80 kilometres from Kohala, and 160 kilometres from Islamabad.
