The station was first used for a match against Everton when six trains ran the football service between Paragon Station, Hull's central railway station and Boothferry Park. The station closed in 1986 for safety reasons.[3] The station was a single platform, {{convert|200|yd|m}} long,[4] that was removed in October 2007 by Network Rail during engineering work.[3] References1. ^{{Butt-Stations|page=39}} {{Special purpose UK stations}}{{Yorkshire-Humber-railstation-stub}}2. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/BoothferryPark/0,,10338,00.html|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20100213125529/http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/BoothferryPark/0%2C%2C10338%2C00.html|archivedate=13 February 2010|title=A History of Boothferry Park|date=27 May 2010|work=The Tigers Official Website|publisher=Hull City A.F.C.|accessdate=9 January 2011|deadurl=yes|df=dmy-all}} 3. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://www.oldgrounds.co.uk/boothferry_park_hull.htm|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20090627090741/http://www.oldgrounds.co.uk/boothferry_park_hull.htm|archivedate=27 June 2009|title=Boothferry Park Hull City|work=Old Football Grounds|accessdate=9 January 2011}} 4. ^{{cite book|last=Bairstow|first=Martin|title=Railways In East Yorkshire Volume Two|year=1995|publisher=Martin Bairstow|location=Halifax|isbn=1-871944-12-0|page=82}} 4 : Disused railway stations in Kingston upon Hull|Railway stations opened by British Rail|Railway stations opened in 1951|Railway stations closed in 1986 |
