It is native to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea.[1] This plant is known to science by only 14 specimens collected from eight locations. It is a shrub or tree generally growing {{convert|3|to|5|m|ft|0}} tall, sometimes reaching {{convert|10|m|ft}}. It has showy flowers and fruits.
