The water is sourced from the Brecon Beacons National Park. Brecon Beacons Natural Waters (its previous owner) started in 1978 as a cottage industry, in converted barns on Lwyndewi Farm. In 1983 the Spadel Group acquired the company and started expanding the business into a major commercial operation. In 2011 Jean-Bertrand de Lartigue became chairman, replacing Professor Brian Morgan.[2] References1. ^{{cite news|url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/3141273.stm|title=Water wars - Wales fights on|work=BBC Online|accessdate=21 October 2012}} 2. ^{{cite news|last=Barry|first=Sion|coauthors=|title=HR adviser takes the chair at Brecon Carreg|work=Western Mail|date=9 March 2011|url=http://www.walesonline.co.uk/business-in-wales/business-news/2011/03/09/hr-adviser-takes-the-chair-at-brecon-carreg-91466-28301785/|accessdate=2012-04-01}} External links
