It is the only school in the Penetanguishene Protestant Separate School Board and the only remaining Protestant separate school in Ontario.[1] The school's original two-storey red brick building was built in 1882, with a later addition added in 1909-1910. The original structures were demolished to construct the current building in June 1965.
