Burnage railway station is a railway station in south Manchester, England, in the suburb of Burnage on the Styal Line. The station is served by Manchester – Crewe Northern stopping services to Manchester Airport. It caters mainly for commuter traffic, being electrified at 25 kV AC overhead, and is used by EMU traffic.

Services

There is a basic twice-hourly service from the station on weekdays and Saturdays provided by Northern - one per hour each way between Liverpool Lime Street and {{rws|Crewe}} via Piccadilly and {{rws|Manchester Airport}} and a second between the Airport and {{rws|Preston}} via {{rws|Bolton}}. The former is worked by {{brc|319}} or {{brc|323}} EMUs and the latter by class 150 or 156 diesel multiple units. Some additional trains stop at peak times and in the evenings, including a small number of TransPennine Express trains toward {{rws|Sheffield}} and {{rws|Cleethorpes}}.[1]

On Sundays, there is a basic hourly service each way, to {{rws|Wilmslow}} via the Airport southbound and to Piccadilly and Liverpool Lime Street northbound.
