After coaching running backs for 16 years at Oklahoma Gundy was promoted to Assistant Head Coach and moved to Inside Receivers for the 2015 season.[4] His brother, Mike, is the head football coach at Oklahoma State University.[5] Gundy lives in Norman, Oklahoma with his wife, Kristy, and his two children, KC and Caitlin.
