It is the site of Walker Tavern, a major stopping place for stagecoaches traveling between Detroit and Chicago in the early nineteenth century. The park includes a visitor center and restored tavern with period furnishings. A reconstructed 1840s barn has displays about barns, roads and travelers in the nineteenth century. The tavern is open seasonally as part of the Michigan Historical Museum System.[4] GalleryReferences1. ^1 {{cite gnis|2112768|Cambridge State Historic Park}} [2]2. ^1 {{cite web |url=https://www.michigan.gov/mhc/0,4726,7-282-61080_61873---,00.html |title=Cambridge Junction Historic State Park |publisher=Michigan History Center |accessdate=June 30, 2018}} }} External links
