It is located southwest of Red Deer. The community is named after Caroline Langley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Langley. The family opened the community's original post office in 1908.[3] DemographicsIn the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Village of Caroline recorded a population of 512 living in 233 of its 259 total private dwellings, a {{percentage|{{#expr:512-501}}|501|1}} change from its 2011 population of 501. With a land area of {{convert|2.04|km2|sqmi|abbr=on}}, it had a population density of {{Pop density|512|2.04|km2|sqmi|prec=1}} in 2016.[4] In the 2011 Census, the Village of Caroline had a population of 501 living in 201 of its 248 total dwellings, a -2.7% change from its 2006 population of 515.
