Catherine Reilly (4 April 1925{{spaced ndash}}26 September 2005) was a British bibliographer and anthologist of women's poetry of the First and Second World Wars.[1] She collected the poetry of female poets and published it in two 1984 anthologies - Scars Upon My Heart: Women's Poetry and Verse of the First World War and Women's Poetry and Verse of World War Two. BiographyReilly was born in Stretford, Lancashire, and won a scholarship to a Roman Catholic grammar school. The school was evacuated in 1939. She left school at the age of 15 and was employed for most of her working life in the public libraries of Manchester. In 1974, she became assistant borough librarian for Trafford, with responsibility for children's services.
