Chacho Gaytán is a leading artist in the music industry in Mexico. He is a Mexican music composer, producer, musical arranger, musical director and conductor. He is best known for being the co-founder and lead keyboard of the Mexican pop band Sentidos Opuestos, along with colleague Alessandra Rosaldo.

As a musical producer he earned his first Latin Grammy Nomination during 2001 with the album “Ellas Cantan a Cri-Cri” for best record and musical production.

As musical director he has immersed himself in the musical industry and classical world, best known for his musical direction in “West Side Story” and later on for his musical arrangement, orquestration and conduction of the most important Orchestras in Mexico, having presented his work at The Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City with the National Philharmonic Orchestra. He has worked with world re-known artists such as Mexican operatic tenor Fernando de la Mora, in his most recent concert with the Campeche Philharmonic Orchestra.

Chacho is founder of the Mexican Jazz Band “Manzana Jazz Band” which quickly became one of the leading Jazz Bands in Mexico.

Currently he Works as Director of Azteca Music, top TV network in Mexico.

He is Co-founder, musical producer and musical director of the most critically acclaimed show in Mexico: “MYST” an original production of producers Maria Laura Medina de Salinas, Felipe Fernández del Paso, Alexis Lippert, Guillermo Alegrett and Chacho Gaytán. MYST quickly became the talk of the town and an absolute “hotspot” with outstanding crowds and sold out results night after night.
