Chakkri or Chakri ({{lang-th|จักรี}}; from Sanskrit चक्री cakrī, literally meaning "one who has a discus", referring to the Hindu god Vishnu who possesses the discus Sudarshana) was the noble title of the prime minister of Ayutthaya, Thon Buri, and Rattanakosin, the city-states in present-day Thailand. When Rama I established Rattanakosin his dynasty, he chose named it Chakri after the government position that he previously held.
