There are 1400 enrolled students from 30 countries, ranging from 3 to 19 years (from Playgroup to Year 13) in the Infant, Junior and Secondary sections. HistoryThe school was established in 1982, as an English-language school based on a British curriculum, open to both Sri Lankan and foreign students. In 1993, the new Chairman,Mr.Armyne Weerasinghe[1][2][3] initiated a development and expansion programme. In 1998, a branch, CIS Kandy was opened in Mawilmada. The school has expanded over the last 24 years to reach the present enrollment of approximately 1578 students from 30 countries.
