The show consists of 26 10-minute stories, which were broadcast in pairs as 13 21-minute episodes. The story is set in New York City and follows the teddy bear Corduroy (whose personality is similar to a preschool child) and his best friend Lisa, an American schoolgirl of Jamaican heritage. The other two toys (Buckaroo the rocking horse and Rosetta the toy mouse), their personalities (like Corduroy) are both also similar to being a preschool child.
