"Cash" is the first single from the record and was written around the time of Johnny Cash's death, the title stuck from that period.[4] "In Your Head" features Laffer's uncle, Richard Szewczyk, on the piano accordion during the middle of the song, with Freya Mengler lending backing vocals. This is only the second time that people outside the band have played on a Panics' song. At the end of "Close" you can hear the ambient sounds of outdoors and the kitchen area, where the band were waiting impatiently to add their parts to the track. On the strength of the album The Panics were personally selected by Grandaddy as their support act on that band's national tour of Australia.[5] Track listing{{Track listing| all_writing = Jae Laffer, Paul Otway, Drew Wootton, Myles Wootton and Julian Grigor.[6] | headline = Crack in the Wall | title1 = Southern | length1 = 5:18 | title2 = Cash | length2 = 4:15 | title3 = In Your Head | length3 = 4:03 | title4 = Like an Aching Lung | length4 = 4:07 | title5 = Lost in Green Eyes | length5 = 3:30 | title6 = Close Enough Ain't Good Enough | length6 = 5:08 | title7 = Crack in the Wall | length7 = 4:01 }} PersonnelThe Panics
