His nickname is El Ogro ({{lang-en|The Ogre}}) which is in reference to a goal celebration he used to make using a Shrek mask while playing in Chile. He is the nephew of former Chilean International footballer Óscar Fabbiani. CareerIn 2008, he was loaned to Argentine club Newell's Old Boys from Romanian CFR Cluj. In 2009, he managed to leave Newell's early in order to join River Plate. In 2010, he went to CD Veracruz to play in the Mexican second division, but he failed to impress in preseason training, resulting in Veracruz terminating the contract. He then joined recently promoted Argentine Primera División side All Boys.[1] Honours
