Weber holds several patents,[3] three recent ones plus his first issued in 1991 titled, "Method and Apparatus for Removing Oxygen from a Semiconductor Processing Chamber."[4] He lectured part-time at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.[5] He is an ordained deacon of the Roman Catholic Church,[6] and served as Catholic Chaplain at the Atascadero State Hospital in California, a maximum security facility designed to house the criminally insane.[7] In 2017, Weber retired and relocated to Utah where he continues to live out the Diakonia.
