He holds degrees from Empire State College (B.A.), Cincinnati Bible Seminary (M.A., M.Div.), Kentucky Christian College (M.Min.) and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. {{citation needed|date=May 2012}} The LookoutSince 1996 he wrote a weekly column for The Lookout, a weekly magazine for Christian families.[2] He has written or co-authored books including Unquenchable Faith, Married for Good, Faith Under Fire, Embracing the Truth, The Life of Moses, Monday Morning Prayers, Monday Morning Insights, and Honest Questions/Honest Answers. Cincinnati Christian UniversityHe has served in the ministry or on the university faculty since the late 1970s. He was the President of the 2006 North American Christian Convention.
