Deputy Chief Herald of Canada is the title held by the deputy head of the Canadian Heraldic Authority. The office of Deputy Chief Herald of Canada was created in March 2006. It is to be held by an officer of arms and brings with it additional managerial responsibilities for the operations of the Canadian Heraldic Authority. The office was first held by Claire Boudreau, who is now Chief Herald of Canada. It is currently held by Bruce Patterson, who is also Saint-Laurent Herald and Registrar of the Canadian Heraldic Authority. See also- Heraldry
