It was included on the album Simple Things and was released as a single. The song's lyrics deal with two lonely hearts whose paths in life will eventually tread into one another. In August 2001, the song debuted at number 30 on the UK Singles Chart and stayed in the top 75 for a total of three weeks. In Portugal, it peaked at number five, charting simultaneously with Zero 7's other single "Distractions", which reached number one.[2] The song was included on the soundtracks for the films Blue Crush, Obsessed and Raising Helen, the TV series Roswell. The song was also featured in the Sky Movies promo of the Star Wars saga, and also in the US television series Smallville. Lacoste used the song as background music for their official website. The song was also featured in the Season 3 episode of The West Wing, "Night Five", as well as a 2001 episode of the US daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless.
